Auto-Trail big winners at the Caravan Club Awards

ATRAIL

Auto-Trail has once again been awarded prestigious awards by the Caravan Club, walking away with no less than thirteen awards at last Friday’s Design awards event, six of those winning their respective categories.

In 2015 Auto-Trail also received six winning awards making this year’s record breaking total even more remarkable. “There were a massive 123 entries over the fifteen categories in this year’s event and to have been placed in eight categories and win six is a real testament to the drive for perfection exhibited by everyone at Auto-Trail”  said Russell Hensman, Marketing Manager of Auto-Trail.

New for 2016, the V-line 540 SE beat a wealth of competition to win the ‘Van Conversions £40K-45K’ category. This high specification 5.4m model provides all the creature comforts and features one expects from an Auto-Trail, at an exceptionally modest price. Our Tribute 680 with two single fixed beds which was brand new for the show, came in a solid third place in the same category.

Perennial contenders the Tribute 670 and Frontier Delaware were again awarded the top prizes for  ‘Van conversions up to £40K’ and ‘Coachbuilt over £60k’ respectively, securing their places as the most highly desirable vehicles at opposite ends of the motorhome market.

In the ‘£40K-50K Coachbuilt’ category the Auto-Trail 615 was crowned the winner, our Tribute 620 came a close second and the “new for 2016” Zefiro 690G in third place, ensuring you need not look any further than Grimsby for a motorhome within this popular price bracket.

“We are again thrilled with the results of Friday’s awards event and the acknowledgement that the design and development of all our vehicles is impressing not only our customers but also the industry representatives. We feel these awards provide us with valuable feedback not only in regards to the innovation and design of our vehicles, but also ensuring they are considered value for money.”
