Seasonal Tips
It is now that time of year when most of you will be putting your motorhome away for the winter, so for those of you who are not braving the elements we thought a reminder of a few necessities might be useful.
- Drain all water and leave the drain taps open.
- Make sure all systems and gas are turned off.
- Either run the engine every 2 weeks or so to maintain the battery charge or turn off the PSU shut down button and/or the vehicle battery shut off. Please be aware that shutting off or disconnecting the vehicle battery will cut power to the alarm if you have one fitted.
- Lift seat cushions and either store indoors or stand them on their edge to allow air flow and help prevent mildew.
- Leave the fridge door slightly ajar to keep fresh.
